Fits, didn't work with my MUCH older Stant tester though.Make sure your pressure tester will work with this.Not sure why but i believe Stant may have changed the air outlet positions on newer tester models.

I bought this cap a few months ago thinking it would be a nice feature not to have to fiddle with the cap on every fill. I am a mechanical type but I still had difficulty getting the filler nozzle all the way into my fuel port.There is a warning on the package that if you don't, you'll dump fuel all over the place....DUH!After about 6 weeks, and maybe 3 fillups, the inner plastic flap (the all important seal) came unhinged and fell inside.Thankfully it is bigger than my Maxima's filler port so it didn't end up in my tank.I fumbled around and got it back together and then it happened again....and then on the fill after that!!!The spring is very strong so it's really hard to get it back together when it comes apart - your thumbs really burn afterwards:-(.A flat-out terrible design with inadequate materials.Go for something all metal with a VERY strong hing.I went back to the standard cap.
Cap is on a GMC Sierra 3500 diesel.Cap works, but I've seen easier to operate locks, however the price is right.
After reading the reviews on Amazon and multiple Toyota forums concerning this "locking" gas cap I called the manufacturer (STANT) and talked to a fella named Chris. He assured me that maybe 1 in 200 caps had a problem. He then added that the 10509 cap was being re-designed and the new version would be available in maybe 6 months.Based on the current problems with gas prices, theft (siphoning), and his statement that "1 in 200" had a problem, I bought one. TRUST ME .. It doesn't work at all!!!Called him again today and explained the problem. His response was "I told you we were re-designing it and you went out and bought one anyway?!" Now, if they knew the thing didn't work, why are they still selling it???I'm out $22.00. I'll be contacting the Federal Trade Commission tomorrow. In the meantime, I'd advise NOT buying this product.

I think the idea of this cap is really great, but in practice I have some concerns.
Purchased this for a 1978 Chevy Silverado. When the cap is placed on the truck and locked, a seal is not created. Consequently, if the tank is full, fuel can escape- or fumes are escaping most the time. A thicker o-ring would likely solve the problem.
This is a great idea but it does not work on my ford explorer.
Stant is a well known name and this item lived up to it's expectations.Be wary of off brands.
The tester does it's job as advertised.The tester is not very useful unless you have the standard radiator cap and radiator or you have the adapters needed.The adapters can be expensive.A complete set of adapters will cost more than the tester, $300 or more.Check the STANT web site for the adapter you need and make sure you are willing to buy the adapters you will need before you purchase the tester.
On two different cars (Chrysler and Kia) caps failed to seal and brought on the Check Engine light.The old PermaCap was on a Lincoln for many years with no failures.Basically the Instant Fill is an inferior design. The Stant will also allow moisture to collect in the flap door depression which unloads into the tank when the filler nozzle is inserted.It is a terrific idea, but needs better product design and engineering.
I purchased this based on the description and the sketch both here and on the Stant page. It physically works as described but does not have the OEM style ridges around the perimeter. As such, it can't be used as an identical replacement part where appearance matters most. That said, it will function and has a beautiful mirror finish that is much better than my original which needs to be re-chromed.
Pry up the tether of the unlocking factory cap from the gas cap's door, leaving it fastened to the ring around the cap, and stow them away together for whatever future use. Insert this Stant 10507 locking cap in its place. May need to turn it a few times to get the feel--and especially to figure out the combination between how to screw the cap and how to turn the key--but it fits the 2009 Honda Fit Sport just fine. Of course, you'll have to handle the cap as you would any other on any other car that has no tether, being sure to screw in the cap again, and lock it, once you've gassed up the car.
My factory cap is under a recall. I've replaced it twice. First time was at 4000 miles. In a word the factory cap is junk. Buy this one and be over it. This cap will fit next to the filler neck when filling with gas. Stant 10841 is the proper cap for the 2005 GTO. Application guide will say different.
Ordered this even after reading the review stating how difficult to install.It took me two minutes at best.You need two flat head screw drivers.Using both flat heads around the plastic ring about 1/4" apart, the ring easily peels off.Putting the ring on the new cap is a cinch!I wouldn't recommend installing in cold weather.You need to stretch the factory plastic ring a little . . . so some warmth is a plus!(Now don't use a flame you idiot!)Usually these types of parts are installed by "professionals" and no instructions are needed for these types of items. However, you need not to be a rocket scientist either.Just a little common sense!
The cap worked very well, however, it came with only ONE key. With three drivers in our home, I needed 2 more keys. First I tried all the local hardware stores and none of them had the blank. They noted that it was an unusual 2 sides key, and that I should check with a locksmith. They all said they could make a one sided key and that those blanks were common. Each one had their favorite locksmith, and I saw every one. They could not help me because of, "NO BLANK". Each one said that they come from China, and they don't want to pay for American blanks, so they use their own. Stant could not help me, nor could the supplier, Great Lakes Wholesalers. I had to return your cap and buy one from Pep Boys.
