I have had my unit for over six months and the batteries are still very strong.I have many tire pressure gauges which include both analog and digital types. What I really like about this one is that it won't let out any air when you take a measurement of tire pressure at the stem valve. This characteristic is important because even slight escape of air will affect tire pressure.
This unit also has an added feature: tire tread depth measure. I don't use it much, but it's handy when you need it. Much better than using a penny or a quarter.
