I don't know much about the plastics used, but what I can tell you is that the hex/philips screws bosch includes will be a lot easier to get out than the english/philips screws the hitachi part I replaced had. Cheap parts have cheap fasteners, and the last thing you want is to have to drill out a broken screw and retap because you tried to save a buck.(p.s. get some anti-seize lubricant for those screws)
